生活できる - I can live

My rice cooker and fridge came this morning and I paid the friendly man who delivered them.
I can finally buy food and get cooking.

Steve came yesterday. He was a zombie. My jetlag IS gone now. I slept beautifully last night on my freshly purchased futon set.

Things still left to do -> Cell phone, bank account, post office account, personal seal, bike, garbage can, maybe a microwave.

@JOHN - Couldnt have brought it anyway without paying money.

@AMANDA - Yeah pretty much. Its a lot of fun. And no I dont really have to keep asking them to repeat things. We all talk in plain form anyway. Polite form is weird.

@MOM - Im alive. My place pretty much had nothing in it when I got it.

@CLAIRE - Did you convert it right? I said the equivilant of $30 a month.

How big is your apt/room? Is it as big as your bedroom without your office included? Do you have a closet? Have you unpacked? So you don;'t have a cooktop? Do they expect you to just eat rice? Can you take some photos and upload them please? That's a special request from the girls. Is Steve in his dorm already?

How far is your apt from the university? Can you get a cat? Do you have your own bathroom? Shower or bathtub? Does it cost to use the laundry? is it in the same building? Are u using Mana's computer right now?

Where have you been eating if you just got your stuff today? Have all meals been in restaurants or has Mana ben feeding you? Have you taken her out as a thank you? Did you give them any gifts yet? How were they received?

Hey!

First of all, go to mom's blog:
www.wemisscolin.blogspot.com
She is upset that you aren't commenting on it or anything.

Yah haha, I thought that $300 for internet was a little high. You know Claire and I and our math skillz.

Glad to hear that you can feed yourself. It would be neat to get a bike. Describe your street for us. And take pictures!

Not much going on with us. Mom started crying over your empty water bottle in the car today. She misses you and cries over sily things. Don't forget your family!

Yay for food~!
Do you have a stove? If you don't your wok becomes a little useless.
As per things to buy here's my advice:
A bike is defintly a good idea.
If you already have a stove then you really don't need to buy a microwave if you're on a budget.
If you don't have a stove the maybe you should buy something you can heat your meals with?
Like a hot plate, maybe?
Or you could just turn the heat up really high and cook your kd on the heater.. haha

ooo, Futon set ! So what is included in a futon set? Futon plus..?holder?
I realized my adding error today while eating dinner with Dad.
$30 a month seems a lot better then $300...^^;

Sorry if we're barraging you with questions.
I'm going to go to bed now but it must be..around 11 am there?
It's weird that you will be sleeping when we wake up but have a good day!

Do you remember to look the opposite way when you cross the street? Well, I'm assuming that taking trains everywhere avoids most traffic. At least your life has been interesting. Mine has been most spent in the practice room working on linear alternating singles and rhythmic illusions (and now double bass). I take the bus which is always 10 minutes late and so far have been practicing a minimum of about 4 hours a day.
